The Consultative Group on Early Childhood Care and Development
CGECCD is a global inter-agency consortium with strong links to regional networks and a track record of advocacy and knowledge generation and dissemination at an international level. Established in 1983 by a small group of donor funding agencies, it has evolved into a well-respected global network with committed partner agencies, institutions and professionals involved in the field of ECCD at all levels.
The Committee on Teaching About the United Nations focuses on today’s most important assignment – teaching our children about a world made increasingly interdependent by globalization.
Early Years Regional Alliance
The overarching goal of the Alliance is to catalyze a movement in Europe and Central Asia for convergent, high quality and equitable services to promote the development and well-being of all young children (0-8 years) and their families. It aims at providing key regional players in the field of Early Childhood Education with the opportunities to converge their comparative advantages and advocate for increased access, equity, quality and investment at transnational level.

Eurochild is a network of organisations and individuals working in and across Europe to promote the rights and well-being of children and young people. Its vision is of a society where children and young people grow up happy, healthy and confident and respected as individuals in their own right. Its mission is to promote the rights and well-being of children in policy and practice through advocacy, membership exchange and research.

International Play Association – Promoting the Child’s Right to Play.
The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization – was founded on 16 November 1945. Today Early Childhood Care and Development is a central topic, related to the Millennium Goals, Education for all and DECADE for Sustainable Development to mention a few.
OMEP’s 2015 appointments to UNESCO:

OMEP has just been elected as one of the two international focal points to the Collective Consultation of NGOs on Education for All (CCNGO/EFA) Coordination Group of UNESCO for 2014-2016. Ingrid Pramling Samuelsson (ingrid.pramling@ped.gu.se) is our representative at the CCNGO/EFA Coordination Group.
The World Forum Foundation
The mission of the World Forum Foundation is to promote an on-going global exchange of ideas on the delivery of quality services for young children in diverse settings. This mission is accomplished through convening gatherings of early childhood professionals around the world and by promoting the continuing exchange of ideas among participants.
